After paying and confirming your final version, download one ZIP with seven files: five PDF formats of the same four-page newspaper, a PDF usage guide with your reading link, and a separate QR image that opens that same online edition. The watermark-free online edition has no scheduled expiry. Physical printing and delivery are separate.

What can you personalise in the Vowfold template?

What a wedding newspaper template should include
A useful template is more than a decorative front page. It gives the whole edition a rhythm: a welcome and photograph on the cover, your story and milestones inside, the day’s practical details for guests, and a final page with thanks or something light to take home.

- Clear spaces for names, dates, photographs and short pieces of writing.
- Room for ceremony details, food, transport or a guest activity.

Blank document, downloadable template or designed layout?
A blank document gives you complete control, but it also makes you solve typography, spacing and page balance from scratch. A downloadable template can be a helpful visual reference, especially when you are collecting ideas. A ready-designed layout is usually the quickest route when you want the finished newspaper to feel coherent without becoming a second design project.
Choose the option that matches the time you have. If you want to change every visual decision, start blank. If you want to write, add photographs and make the edition yours, start with a considered layout and personalise the parts that matter.

Etsy template or a guided maker?
Many couples start with a template from Etsy. These are digital downloads: nothing is printed or posted. After paying, you download the files from your Etsy purchases, often a PDF with a link to edit the design in Canva or Corjl. You then export your own print file and arrange printing yourself.
- An Etsy template suits you if you want to change fonts, colours and layout, and are happy working in the editor the seller uses. Before buying, check which app and account it needs, the page size and page count, and whether it explains how to export a print-ready PDF. Each seller sets their own terms.
- A guided maker such as Vowfold suits you if you would rather write and add photos than arrange a layout. You fill in four designed pages and preview them free; the paid download includes a permanent online reading link and five PDFs, including tabloid files sized for Newspaper Club and PRINTNEWSPAPER. You cannot restyle the fonts or page grid, and you do not get an editable source file.

Template or AI writing help?
A template solves the visual decisions; it does not need to replace your voice. Start with notes that only you could provide: the place you met, a phrase you repeat, a small family detail or what you want guests to remember. Optional AI writing help can turn those notes into a short draft or polish wording, but you should review every name, date and detail before exporting.
Check the files before you print
Use the reading-order digital edition to read, keep or share your newspaper; its pages can also be printed. For a folded copy, the A3 and 11 × 17 in files are already arranged for a printer that takes the matching sheet size, at home or in a shop. Specialist newspaper printers need their own tabloid PDFs.
