Privacy, in plain English.

Vowfold collects only the information needed to build and deliver your wedding newspaper: project text, uploaded photos, your account email, order records and payment status. We do not sell personal information.

Your photos and stories

Photos are used only for your newspaper preview and export. They are never sent to the writing model. When AI writing is enabled, only the text fields needed for that request are sent to the model provider. Vowfold and its providers do not use your submitted content to train our models.

Retention

Signed-in drafts remain available for 180 days after their last content edit; simply viewing a draft does not restart that period. A draft you delete can be restored for up to 30 days, but never beyond its original 180-day expiry. After expiry it is no longer available and may be permanently deleted. Purchased order snapshots and export files do not share the draft expiry and remain in your order history until you request deletion or close your account. Email delivery links expire after 30 days.

Payments and email

Stripe processes payment details; Vowfold does not store full card numbers. Resend processes sign-in and delivery emails. Neon stores account, project and order records, and private object storage holds private photographs and purchased export files. Operational logs exclude full story text, photo URLs, and payment details.

Your choices

You may request access or deletion by emailing support@vowandpress.com. We may retain minimal transaction records where required by law.

Security

Uploads are restricted to JPG, PNG, and WebP files, validated again during export, and are not publicly indexed. Email download links are signed, unpredictable and time-limited; account downloads require authentication.
